Activities
Our property has a rich array of wildlife, both feathered and furred, which can be seen on the many walks available to guests.
Guests are also welcome to join in the day’s activities which might involve checking cattle, feeding cows and calves, depending on the season. A complete tour of our farm is available for guests upon request.
For those who enjoy walking, there are day and half day walks through a variety of conditions giving beautiful views of the valley and opportunity to discover secluded areas of tranquillity. Wonderful bird-watching opportunities exist throughout The Oaks.
Beyond The Oaks, the towns of Bingara and Narrabri offer a wealth of tourist attractions. Golf, horse riding, gold panning, fossicking and white water rafting (seasonal) are all available in Bingara.
Moree's hot mineral baths are well worth a visit.
Mount Kaputar National Park provides magnificent views of the State. There is great bushwalking to be done there on excellent tracks.
Your hosts offer day tours to the Horton Falls and Mt Kaputar.
