Dining
For a complete holiday, guests are welcome for meals at the homestead. The Oaks homestead is a turn of the century (c1900) brick home with a delightful dining room where guests can enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared meal using farm grown, local produce wherever possible.
The menu is prepared in consultation with guests and special dietary requirements are not a problem. Prices range from $30 to $50 per person for dinner with concessions for children. We have a fabulous choice of main meals and desserts.
The house specialty is a camp oven dinner, eaten in the garden under the stars. (click on the camp oven to view slideshow). Guests are encouraged to participate in the cooking of this meal, sitting around the campfire, listening to it cook!
This “culinary experience” is $50 per person.
Breakfast is served in the homestead’s conservatory which overlooks the garden and the hills beyond.
The charge is a flat rate of $10 per person.
Packed lunches are available also.
