Dining
For a complete holiday, guests are welcome for meals at the homestead. The Oaks homestead is a turn of the century (c1900) brick home with a delightful dining room where guests can enjoy a delicious, freshly prepared meal using farm grown, local produce wherever possible.
The menu is prepared in consultation with guests and special dietary requirements are not a problem. Prices range from $30 to $50 per person for dinner with concessions for children. We have a fabulous choice of main meals and desserts.
Breakfast is served in the homestead’s conservatory which overlooks the garden and the hills beyond. The charge is a flat rate of $10 per person.
During September and October Don and Jenn will be taking a short break to study hospitality in other parts of the world. While they are away, your hosts for Sherwoods Cottage will be Pam and Chris Richards in September and their son Angus in October, both of whom have their own repertoire of meals.
